In 1933 began the tennis ace Rene Lacoste cooperation with knitwear mogul André Gillier. The goal was to create a new kind of sweater that would work well on the track. The result was a white, short shirt with short sleeves, made of the then revolutionary material jersey petit piqué. What we nowadays say Polo on.

A rock career was exchanged for a furniture designer career and over the years he has had time to accumulate many awards.
His cooperation with Lacoste have resulted in two different versions of the classic polo shirt. In Eco Polo, Tom has put all its energy into the material itself. Polo engines is obviously handmade and even hand-colored old-fashioned, to completely avoid chemicals. Tom has also applied new stitches and treated material to make a real entrance vintage feel. Eco Polo is supplied in cartons from recycled materials, including from egg cartons.
A high-tech weaving technology have created Techno Polo.
This is all the focus on the technology in which the material is a mixture of cotton and lurex. Techno Polo comes vacuum packed in aluminum packaging.
Both variants of the classic polo shirt will also be in limited editions. 1000 copies of each. In the limited edition of the Techno Polo, Tom has used a rather odd combination – stainless steel (!) And cotton.
